ORIGIN8: Where Headshots Don’t Have to Be Awkward.
Let’s be honest, nobody loves getting their photo taken. That’s why at Studio Origin8, I keep it simple: a relaxed vibe, plenty of laughs, and headshots that feel natural, confident, and true to you. No stiff poses, no fake smiles, just images you’ll actually want to show your agent.
I know the difference a headshot can make, because I’ve lived it. I trained at Central, performed as a leading man in West End shows, and later worked on the other side of the panel as a musical director. I’ve seen first-hand how the wrong photo can quietly close doors, and how the right one can open them.
For the past 14 years, I’ve been behind the camera, helping actors get the headshots that get them in the rooms they want. Today, alongside composing for film & TV and co-writing musicals, I bring all of that industry insight into my photography. Recommended by agents, casting directors, and trusted by actors across London, my goal is simple: to give you headshots that do more than look good, they get you remembered, called in, and booked.
Outside the studio, I live in Surrey with my wife, our two kids, and our little dog Charlie. Family keeps me grounded, and reminds me every day why I love this work: finding the spark in each person and capturing it.
